    Excavation

There are many facets of excavation. We have listed just a few of the areas in which we specialize, giving some brief descriptions. These are some of the main points to consider as you are determining your parking lot needs.

    Soft Spot Excavation
Soft spot excavation is required when hydraulic pumping occurs. The excavation process requires depths of complete removal of the contaminated soil or until bridging can occur by placement of a crushed wash rock, wrapped with a fabric, so the 3/4" and pit-run can be placed as required.

    Drain Placement
New drains or excavation and repairs to existing drains are required to be engineered and approved by the city or county jurisdiction in which your project resides.

    Site Development Process
This process is applied in new construction or extensions of existing parking areas. The site must first be cleared of all foreign and natural debris; this is called clear and grub. The next step requires removal of soils (excavation) to required elevations for placement of gravels as specified for base materials.
